Constipation and Wetting the Bed
Many people do not know that constipation is a common cause for bladder problems especially when it comes to this medical problem. When you take a look in the human body, you will see that the rectum is located right behind the bladder. When the rectum is filled with large or hard feces, the bladder will absorb this additional pressure which sometimes causes bladder instability. People of all ages who suffer from nighttime and daytime incontinence (uncontrollable urination) find that the cause of their health problem is due to bladder instability.
If you want to know if your child is constipated, you need to start tracking bowel movements. If your child’s poop is hard or your youngster is not going to do #2 at least once a day, this is a good indication that constipation could be an issue. For this problem, you need to make sure that your child is drinking plenty of water and increase the amount of your child’s fiber intake. High-fiber foods you can use to address this problem quickly include:
– Whole grains
– Vegetables
– Fruits
– Prune juice
– Apple juice
These high-fiber foods are good nutritional options and adding them to your child’s diet is an excellent way of making sure that you are helping your kid’s bladder and bowel work smoothly again.
