Pro #2: Less expensive and (sometimes) more flexible about pick up and drop off times
Most often, home daycare is less expensive than a child care centre. Usually centres have very strict policies on drop off and pick up times. They will charge you by the minute if you are late for pick up (regardless of the circumstances). While looking for a home daycare, you may be able to find someone who has more flexible pick up and drop off times and someone who will be a little more lenient if you are a little bit late every once in a while.
