4. You become competitive when you friend mentions their kids accomplishments.
If you find yourself doing this you have become a one-upper. You think you’re adding to the conversation, but really you’re just taking focus off of the other child’s accomplishments. The other mom is proud of her kid. You don’t have to turn what was a nice talk into an ego-fueled battleground. That’s just not fair to anyone.
