Moment #2- First Time Your Baby Smiles At You
In the first little while, your baby just seems to eat, sleep and poop. It is surprisingly hard to take care of a little being that does nothing but eat, sleep and poop. In that time, your baby may look at you, smile in his sleep or make random smiley faces. However, when your baby really truly smiles at you for the first time, it melts your heart. I remember being up at some ungodly hour with sore nipples and a sore vagina, breast feeding with a dim light on because it was so damn hard to breast feed. My little man finished drinking and looked up at me. He stared at me with the biggest smile ever. He just held my gaze and smiled. I thought the world had stopped for those 10 seconds. Best 10 seconds ever!
