Do I Have This Illness?
This illness is not very well named, because it does not always cause pink or red eyes. If you have a great deal of discharge and pus coming from your eyes, you may have it. This is especially true if the discharge is green or yellow. You may also notice that it causes crusting around your eye and in your eyelashes.
In addition, some people merely notice soreness and swelling around the eye. Any pain in the eye should be treated urgently by a doctor to avoid permanent injury to the delicate tissues in the area.
