2) Play Teepees


Sure, you’re child can look adorable sitting there in a teepee lounging, playing, or reading. But, why does your child need a teepee. In this day and age, parenting seems to be more about a competition of posting the cutest photos on social media in which the teepee seems to be a winner for that setup. This teepee tradition has now been adopted by a society that knows very little about what teepees were even used for. Let’s look at some reason to let this trend go in 2019:

  • You don’t have a need for a teepee.
  • Your child’s room isn’t big enough to support room for it.
  • Can it even be comfortable playing or especially reading in a dark area? I haven’t seen a teepee with a light aside from a few that “sparkle”.
  • It’s really not culturally appropriate.
