Simon Says

Another traditional but fun listening and attention game is Simon Says. Players have to do what Simon says or they get knocked out of the game. You (the parent) can be the first Simon. Ask the kids to form a line or circle. The rule of the game is for Simon to give a command, starting the sentence with the phrase, “Simon says.” The kids will need to perform what they’re told to do exactly as commanded. Simon must also perform the act. For example, if you say “Simon says to wave your hand,” you must wave your hand and the kids should copy the action. If you ask them to show an action without saying, “Simon says,” they must not respond. Anyone who does has to leave the game. The winner gets to be the next Simon.
