#4- Ask For Help

Let’s face it. We are told our whole lives to be strong, INDEPENDENT women. We are sometimes expected to be everything to everyone without complaining. But children were not meant to be raised alone. The saying “it takes a village” needs to be taken more seriously. Everyone needs help sometimes and no one can do it alone, nor should they have to. You can decide what is most helpful for you- whether it’s putting your child in nurery school a few mornings a week, hiring someone to do some cleaning, asking family/ friends/ neighbours for a hand. It’s time to start building our villages- asking for help makes you strong, not weak.
